Simple Quindão recipe

Simple Quindão recipe

How about preparing a homemade quidão to serve as dessert? This candy with coconut and egg, in addition to being gluten-free and lactose-free, leaves anyone drooling for being so tasty! In this recipe that I share at specialfood I show you how easy it is, so check out the step-by-step instructions for my simple quidão recipe below and prepare it today with all the tricks.

Ingredients for making simple Quindão:

 9 tablespoons of sugar

1 tablespoon of softened or melted margarine

200 grams of grated coconut flakes

 200 milliliters of coconut milk

 12 units of gems

 2 egg units

How to make simple Quindão:

To avoid the egg smell when preparing the quindo, sift the yolks into a bowl, place the eggs and mix well. Add the spoons of sugar, one by one, stirring constantly until the mixture is lighter.

Keeping stirring, add the margarine, coconut milk and grated coconut. When the quidão mixture is very smooth, pour it into a mold with a central hole, greased with margarine and sprinkled with sugar.

Tip: You can use dry or fresh grated coconut.

Cover with aluminum foil or a lid and bake in a water bath at 180ºC for approximately 45 minutes. To know if it's ready, stick a toothpick in the candy, it should come out clean.

Tip: To unglue and unmold, run a knife along the sides.

Your simple quidão is ready! To make it even more delicious, we advise you to reserve it in the fridge for 30 minutes to an hour, then you can serve it cold and prove it's delicious!
